Brian Paddick, Lib Dem Candidate for London Mayor, Visits Portobello Road
On Friday 25th January, the man who is challenging Labour's Ken Livingstone in the Mayoral elections on 1st May visited the iconic Portobello Road, the market, local stores and the surrounding area. Brian Paddick told stall holders that if elected, he would SCRAP Labour's Westward-extension of the Congestion Charge which Ken Livingstone forced through against massive public opposition. The charge has hit local businesses hard and has weakened the original congestion zone.
